Huawei introduced the Mate 9 and the Mate 9 Pro, two smartphones that have already speculated to be Daydream ready. The Mate 9 Pro should definitely have enough power for Daydream support. As Google’s VP of VR, Clay Bavor announces, the Mate 9 Pro only needs an update of the software and then the smartphone will be Daydream Ready.

The Mate 9 Pro is equipped with an AMOLED display with a size of 5.5 inches. The display comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Mate 9 Pro is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor with 4 GB RAM.
